Assisted stretching is a form of stretching where someone helps you stretch your muscles beyond what you may be able to do on your own. An assisted stretch with a trained professional allows for a deeper and more effective stretch, as you are able to relax the other muscles surrounding the targeted muscle group. The stretch therapist is able to apply controlled pressure to specific muscles and joints through movements and stretch patterns that are tailored to your body's needs and limitations. From sedentary to professional athletes, assisted stretching is beneficial to people of all ages, lifestyles, and flexibility levels.

Our approach to assisted stretching utilizes a technique known as PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) or the contract-relax method. This technique allows for reciprocal inhibition of the muscle groups and creates a safe and effective stretch on the target muscles. In these one on one sessions I will customize your routine specifically for your goals and any limitations you may have. As you start seeing improvements from your stretch sessions, I will modify your program to fit your needs at any given time and to ensure continual progress towards your goals.
My training includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology/Exercise Science, where I completed over 80 credit hours of in-depth, hands-on coursework. This included subjects such as exercise prescription, advanced strength and conditioning techniques, biomechanics, nutrition, senior research, and advanced human anatomy and physiology. I’ve also gained over 100 clinical hours in physical therapy settings, as well as extensive hands-on experience in strength training. To further specialize, I earned a stretch therapy certification through an intensive three-month program that included 50 hours of practical, hands-on training.
Driven by a passion for holistic health, I focus on modalities that support the body’s natural ability to heal and improve without relying on aggressive pharmaceutical interventions. My background and approach enable me to deliver personalized, science-backed care that helps clients feel stronger, move better, and achieve their wellness goals.
I do my best to respond within 2-3 days.
